The Campaign for Our Lady of Mercy

  • This marks the 63rd year Our Lady of Mercy has been making a difference in the lives of our students by inspiring spiritual growth, academic excellence, leadership, and service to others. Help fulfill our mission for the next sixty years by making a pledge to The Campaign for Our Lady of Mercy!

As many of you know, we have traditionally run a Mercy Fund campaign each year to raise money needed for operating expenses, bridging the gap between tuition and what it truly costs to educate a student. Since completing the transition to a full-cost tuition model, we are now able to focus the Mercy Fund campaign on specific projects, school improvements, and our scholarship fund. In coordination with the parish, Mercy School will be taking a different approach to the 2022-2023 annual fundraising campaign.

For this year only, there will be no Mercy Fund. The parish has launched a Capital Campaign with the intent to address the continued needs of the Church and School. This transformational project will include significant upgrades to the school building and campus such as:

    • New playground for PreK-3
    • A turf field and running track
    • New classrooms: music room, youth room, counselor office
    • Gym expansion to include new spectator bleachers
    • New entrance to the gym/school and outdoor walkway for students

Mercy school has always sought to holistically improve the life of the student. These exciting upgrades will impact the academic, social, and physical well-being of the students and will have a significant impact on our ability to attract new students and retain our existing school families. The education Mercy provides is exceptional; our facility should reflect this!

How you can help: In lieu of a Mercy Fund donation, we are asking each of you to prayerfully consider a multi-year pledged commitment to The Campaign for Our Lady of Mercy. A pledge card can be downloaded here, which outlines the various gift levels and fulfillment options. (You should have already received a packet with a letter from Fr. Charles and pledge card in an earlier mailing from the parish.) Our goal for the school is to have 100% of our families and staff submit their commitment by January 31, 2023. We do not need your actual donation by this date, just your commitment to make a gift.

Thank you for your continued support of Our Lady of Mercy. Your gift will have a direct and lasting impact on our mission.
