Meet the Leadership Team

Christine Green, Principal

Mrs. Christine Green is beginning her 41st year as a parochial school teacher and administrator; 37 of which have been spent at Our Lady of Mercy School. In addition to her role as principal, she facilitates Mercy’s Leadership Seminar for 7th and 8th graders.  Mrs. Green is the Educational Extension (GT) Program Director and Director of Mercy Summer Spectrum of Education.  Mrs. Green believes in a well-developed and comprehensive program that educates the whole child - mind, body, and spirit rooted in the inherent dignity of the child. Ongoing reflection, clear communication, student engagement, and faculty collaboration are hallmarks of her approach.

Notable accolades include: recipient of the 2020 Golden Apple Award for dedication and commitment to excellence in education; two-time recipient of the Msgr. Mrs. Green was instrumental in Mercy being named a National Blue Ribbon School three times (1999, 2009, 2020).  Of the almost 9,000 schools in the United States, Mercy is one of only 107 to be awarded the Blue Ribbon three times.
